Connect your AI assistant.
AirVeto runs an MCP server. Your AI assistant can manage the units on your live map, read the wind at each one, plan coverage and check the incident archive around them.
MCP (Model Context Protocol) is the open standard AI assistants use to call outside tools. AirVeto's MCP server lets your assistant work on your own map, with the same wind and incident data the live map shows.
The MCP server is part of the Companies plan.
What you need
- A Companies account on AirVeto.
- An AI assistant that supports MCP. Any MCP client works: chat apps, coding assistants or your own agent.
Connect in 3 steps
- In your AI assistant, add a custom connector named AirVeto with the URL
https://airveto.com/api/mcp. - Sign in to AirVeto when the assistant asks, and allow the connection.
- On the live map, open Data Sources and switch on AI assistant (MCP). Assets your assistant places appear within 10 seconds.
Where to add it
- Claude: Settings, Connectors, Add custom connector.
- ChatGPT: turn on developer mode under Settings, Apps & Connectors, Advanced, then create a connector with OAuth sign-in.
- Other assistants: look for a custom connector or MCP server setting. If yours can't sign in and takes a request header instead, get a key in the map's Data Sources panel and send it as
Authorization: Bearer.
Menu names change between versions. You can disconnect AirVeto from the assistant at any time.
What your assistant can do
- Run your map. Add, move and update your sensors, cameras, vehicles and teams, and set up the map the way you want it, by asking.
- Plan with the conditions in mind. Work out where to station units and how to move them, with the wind and weather behind each decision.
- Read the conditions. Ask for the wind at any of your sites or any point on the map, at the heights that matter.
- Follow what is happening. Describe what was seen and where, and ask where it is heading.
- Check the record. Pull the incidents AirVeto has reconstructed around any point, with their sources.
- Bring your own data. Connect your live feeds and see them on the same map.
Ask in a sentence, the way you would ask a colleague: "Place three cameras along the border near Druskininkai and tell me the wind at each one." or "Where should three 15 km sensors have sat during the 8 October incident?"
Your assistant learns the full set of actions from AirVeto when it connects. Companies customers can also read the complete reference with their key.
Good to know
- Assets your assistant places are private to your account and follow you to any browser you sign in on.
- One key per account. Getting a new key replaces the old one.
